In the conception and execution of each new work, ANTENNA seeks to invent, discover, and explore ways of involving a variety of artistic disciplines and new technologies in the theater experience. ANTENNA believes that a major strength of live performance and public art comes from interaction with the members of the community in which it is created and presented. As a result, all of ANTENNA's scripts are developed from interviews with the public, and all productions involve audience participation. In the past fourteen years ANTENNA has pioneered the use of new theatrical formats involving Walkmans, infrared-transmitted sound, 3-D slides, sensor-tripped animation, interactive video, portable multi-channel radio transmission, and interactive public art projects. Additional information on the history of ANTENNA and our productions can be found using the links at the top of this page. ________________________________________________ Board of Directors
